There are so many single mothers in this world that are trying so desperately to go back to school in order to further their education. I wish I could shout it from the rooftops on exactly how they can do just that with all of the grants for single mothers that are available now. And for free. How often does someone get to go to school for free and not have to worry about paying the money back. All they need to focus on then is learning in order to get a better job to support their family.

Exercise and eat right, right? That is what it takes to get in good shape… if you don’t already have a lot of extra pounds or have good genetics. If there is one thing I have learned is that the rich will always have money. When the going gets tough, the people with enough money for 20 lifetimes will still be fine. They buy things like sliding wardrobes for their bedrooms and everything is stainless steel in the kitchen. It is all standard now, and those houses are still selling, even in this market. So, if you have a few extra dollars, don’t waste it, invest in your house.

If you have to file for bankruptcy, it sucks. I have done it three times, so I should know best. Not only have I filed for business bankruptcy, but I have also filed for personal bankruptcy which sucks even more. However, there are a few things I have learned, and that is there is no shame in bankruptcy. So, if you are deciding to take it on and file, then understand that it should just be a numbers game, and nothing personal.

Own or rent apartments?

Does it make more sense to rent or own apartments? That depends on a few variables. Some of these include how much capital you have. Most of the time you need about 20% down to buy a place. If you don’t have that much saved up, you can rent until you do. I currently rent because my income is fluxing so much that I really don’t know how much money I will have a year from now. I will look at some of the new york apartments when I have enough money.

I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas and I’ve been using it almost every day since then. It’s really an impressive piece of computer hardware and I highly recommend checking one out.

Pop Music Today

Pop music can run the gamut from trashy autotuned stuff, to truly awesome talented performances. The problem is that it’s often too easy for a record label to get someone that just has the “look” they want, and fix the vocals in the studio with all the fancy computer software they have.

A good example of these “made in a laboratory” sound is the Black-eyed Peas. They played live during the Superbowl and sounded absolutely terrible. The guys sounded especially bad. However, if you listen to them on the radio or on a CD, they sound awesome. So what you have there is a “studio band” that really only sounds good once they’ve been properly mixed and autotuned to actually sound good.
